Dr. Cara Reitnauer graduated locally from Governor Mifflin High School in 2002. She attended Pennsylvania State University until 2006, graduating with a Bachelors of Science degree.

Dr. Reitnauer received her doctorate of optometry at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, now Salus University. Throughout her professional training in North Carolina, Maryland, and Pennsylvania, she has gained extensive experience with primary care optometry, specialty contact lens fitting and diagnosis and management of ocular disease. She has worked closely with local retinal and corneal specialists as well as provided care to our nation’s veterans at two Veterans Medical Centers. During her externships, Dr. Reitnauer has been exposed to the highest level of diagnostic technology available for managing many ocular conditions.

Along with her training, Dr. Reitnauer has organized vision screenings in the Philadelphia community through Lions Club and attended a mission trip serving thousands in Haiti.

Giving comprehensive eye examinations in Boyertown at Dr. Tribbett’s office

has been very rewarding for Dr. Reitnauer, and she enjoys every interaction

with each patient that walks through the door.

Get to know our helpful team

Our team provides quality eye care services to all members of your family, including children and infants. They are supported by a professionally trained staff, who have been working with Dr. Tribbett for over 30 years.

After serving as class president at Pennsylvania College of Optometry, Dr. Tribbett surveyed opportunities in four states before establishing his office in Boyertown. He liked the town setting, varied employment for the residents, and the reputation of the school district. Dr. Tribbett's family, including his three daughters, relocated to the area, and in 1969 he opened a new office to provide eye care services.

Dr. Tribbett has continuously adapted to the constant changing technology and education. Acquiring the Optomap in 2005 was an exciting adjunct for patient services. The addition of electronic medical records will also be very beneficial to the practice. Dr. Tribbett has always served his patients with honesty, fairness and competency. He feels fortunate to have been able to serve such wonderful patients over the past 42 years.

In addition to eyecare services, his interest in public service is evident by membership in the Lions Club serving as president for two terms, Board of Directors of the Boyertown Lions Community Ambulance Service, Board of Directors of the United Way, and many committees in other community activity. Furthermore, he is proud of chairing the Christmas lighting and banner programs. He also served as chair and president in the local and state optometric associations. A mission trip to Ukraine in 2007 and to Haiti in 2011 allowed him to provide vision services to many needy residents. Dr. Tribbett also enjoyed serving as a proctor for Optometric National Board clinical testing for the past 20 years.

In 2010, Dr. Tribbett invited Dr. Cara Reitnauer to share in the practice and bring services and continuing updates to his patients. She is a stellar professional

of whom he is very proud.
